I have been going to Suburban Oral Surgery for several years. I have an autoimmune syndrome and it can be a challenge to work on my teeth. I have the utmost confidence in Dr Libunao and his nurse, Jessica. I'm often very nervous about the appointment, and they both know how to calm down my fears and anxiety. From my first phone call to my son's follow-up visit, Suburban Oral Surgery was the BEST! We have a small and difficult-to-work-with insurance company, and Sabrina was incredibly helpful in dealing with them and getting everything straightened out. She was unfailingly patient, friendly, and kind. My son saw Dr. Libunao for the consult and we really liked his bedside manner; my son was not the least bit nervous for his procedure! Because of a change in our schedule, his surgery ended up being with Dr. Kim, who was equally wonderful. When I had to call the office to ask if the discomfort my son was still experiencing after a few days was normal, the gentleman at the front desk put this worried mom's mind totally at ease with his calm explanations. My son's surgery and recovery could not have gone better. Now I'm very grateful to our insurance, because without their limited provider choices, we never would've found Suburban Oral Surgery, since we live in northwest IN. They were totally worth the drive, and they'll be our first choice when it's our younger son's turn for wisdom teeth!

My husband has recently had surgery with Doctor Libunao, requiring the removal of ten teeth and alveoloplasty. Knowing that my husband has COPD and other health issues, I was very fearful and came to the consultation appointment with him. Not only, did Doctor Libunao manage to put both of us at ease, but also, he took the time to answer all our questions and to explain the entire process very clearly. The surgery went very well and my husband is healing great.

Considering i hate the dentist you can only imagine my feelings on the oral surgeon. Both docs were great, a special shout out to Nancy who dealt with me the first time. I hated having to go here, but it was a necessity. They soon realized that i was a basket case and tended to me awesomly making me not feel weird for having panic attacks just at the sight of their office. Of course was nervous getting all of my 4 wisdom teeth out at once, and it was the first time ever getting put to sleep. But the doctors here are very comforting and professional. From the consultation to the next appt. where I got my teeth pulled everyone was awesome and made me feel very comfortable. They listened when I told them the laughing gas didn't make me feel too good and shut it off. The doctor actually had a very good sense of humor which was exactly what I needed since I was so nervous. I was told it was gonna be about 2 hours and they only took 1. I recovered amazingly which means they did an awesome job. Thank you!!!

On the day of Extraction, the nurse who treated me was very courteous and cool. She explained me about the effect of local anesthesia before applying it. Extremely good service. He made sure the whole process goes smooth. After the Extraction, they explained me clearly about how to take care for a week. They even made a Follow-up call the next day to check how was i doing. My best friend's husband is an oral surgeon in Ann Arbor and I was going to drive 6 hours just to go to someone I trusted to get my wisdom teeth extracted, until I heard about Dr. Libunao. I had 5 wisdom teeth and was prepared to be in pain but all I felt was slight discomfort. I had the procedure done on a Friday and was back at work on Monday. My father can be very critical and for the first time ever, he had nothing bad to say - he was raving about his entire experience. I had to have one wisdom tooth removed and was sent to Suburban Oral Surgery. From the first phone call I made to the couple days following my extraction, I have had nothing but good experiences. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I had originally scheduled for the end if this month but when there was a cancellation, they called to see if I wanted to come sooner. They quickly processed insurance and expected costs and the next day I was in the office waiting for my tooth to be yanked! Dr Libunao was awesome. I had local anesthesia and the longest part was waiting to numb up, then the doctor had my tooth out in less than five minutes. Very quick and painless! Far from what everyone I talked to prepared me for, all my friends and family just talked about horror stories! He sutured me up quick and by three days later I was back to a normal diet. They made follow up calls to check in on me too, which is great. I would recommend them to anyone in the area that has to have any kind of oral surgery!

THRILLED with Dr. Allan Libuano and his entire staff! My daughter had 4 impacted wisdom teeth that were causing her a lot of pain. The front office was beyond kind, knowledgeable, and billed both dental and medical insurance! My daughter has healed with very little pain, no bruising (which we expected to have), and much less swelling. So very lucky my co-worker recommended this office! Our first consult was with Cameo who carries the same level of out of network insurance coverage but we had a very sketchy billing experience so switched to Suburban Oral Surgery. Do not give it a second thought and trust your family with this office! So happy with them! Hope they enjoyed the fresh squeezed pineapple juice!

We have mostly been seen by Dr. Libunao, who is out of this world amazing. He listens & does not make you feel like you're being rushed. Especially when he is explaining what he's going to do or when he's working on your teeth. He also is patient if you have questions. I am sensitive to epinephrine & he has prepared my numbing shots with this in mind…He also has a very calm nature which is beyond helpful, especially for those of us who are borderline mortified of the entire "dental experience". The last thing I want is a high strung dentist or oral surgeon. He also gives great instruction while you are in the chair so no surprise pokes, pinches or having your head unexpectedly turned this way & that. The receptionist that I have dealt with have all been really nice & easy to work with. The dental assistant (I really wish I could remember her name) is friendly & gives through take home instructions & is patient if you have questions.

I was referred to Dr. Libunao's practice after I was in need of a tooth replacement due to a sports injury. My main concern was that anyone would be able to differentiate this new tooth as fake in comparison to the rest of my teeth.
